Affiliate Disclosure
Last updated 2026-08-14
Some of the booking links on flycheap.nyc — labeled “See fare” or “View deal” on a deal card — are affiliate links, mainly through the Aviasales / Travelpayouts network. If you click through and book, we may earn a commission from the airline or travel site. It costs you nothing extra; the fare you see is the fare you pay.
What this doesn't change
Commission has no influence over which fares appear on the Site or how they're ranked. Deals are sorted by measured discount against each route's own price history — a bigger commission would not move a fare higher on the page. See how we track fares for the actual methodology.
Curated deals
A small number of deals are hand-entered from other sources (for example, Secret Flying), marked “Via Secret Flying” on the card. Those links go to the original source post, not an affiliate link, unless otherwise noted.
Automated deal sources
Deals marked “Via The Flight Deal” are pulled automatically, once an hour, from The Flight Deal's public feed and scored against our own price history the same way as every other fare on the Site. We have no affiliate relationship with The Flight Deal — the “View on The Flight Deal” link goes to their original post and earns us nothing.
Mistake fares
Cards labeled “Mistake fare” link straight to the airline's own site, labeled “Book direct on [Airline]”, instead of through an affiliate link. That's intentional, not a missed opportunity: our own mistake fare playbook tells you to book price errors direct with the airline rather than through a reseller, so we don't send you through one ourselves. We earn no commission on these links.
This disclosure exists because the FTC requires it whenever a site earns money from recommending something you might buy. We'd rather be upfront about it than have you find out some other way.
